5-liter, 40-valve unit produced 380 horsepower and happily revved to an 8,500 rpm redline, pushing the F355's capabilities past previous generations every way.
Available in Berlinetta coupe or GTS targa body styles at launch, both models made use of a pressed steel monocoque while new underbody aerodynamics vastly improved high-speed stability.
Its stunning Pininfarina-penned lines were complemented by new 18-inch magnesium wheels, and inside, a more practically packaged interior housed the ever-desirable six-speed metal gate and polished aluminum shift knob.
According to its original warranty and service book, this left-hand drive, European-market Ferrari F355 GTS was delivered to its first Austrian owner via Ferrari dealer Wolfgang Denzel AG on 14 July 1995.
Subsequent service entries and accompanying invoices show that the Ferrari returned to Wolfgang Denzel AG a number of times for annual service over the next several years in 1997, 1999, and 2003.
An ownership change document on file also shows that the Ferrari changed hands in May 2000 to its second owner in Vienna, Austria.
In 2019, the car was treated to a major engine-out service at Modena Motorsport in Parndorf, Austria, which encompassed a timing belt service, air conditioning servo motor, power steering pump, alternator V-belt, fuel filter, and fluids change.
Simultaneously, the car received a partial cosmetic refurbishment including restoring the trunk lid, exterior mirrors, rear wheels, the center console, interior sticky buttons, and steering wheel trim.
In July 2023, following its importation to Belgium under new ownership, the Ferrari visited L'Officina in Overijse, Belgium for further mechanical sorting.
Work included replacing the timing and engine-accessory belts, tensioners, fuel filter, spark plugs, air and fuel filters, engine gaskets and seals, windshield wipers, as well as sealing and charging the air conditioning system.
The total cost of this major engine-out service came to EUR8,989.

This low-mileage Rosso Corsa over Nero leather F355 GTS shows just 20,965 kilometers (approximately 13,027 miles) at the time of cataloging, and is poised for many more years of spirited gear changes and open-air excitement.
